Kids learn.

They learn from what we tell them, but even more from what we do. As frustrating as it can be to walk the walk all the time, that is the absolute best way to influence their behavior.

Kids adapt.

We don't have to get this right every time. We can even completely change our tune halfway through. Because kids and teens understand "do-overs" and change, and we get to model flexibility and resilience!
