4th Grade Homework - Adultery?!

Do you read every paragraph your child brings home from school?

I don't! Most parents are worried about making sure their child doesn't see something really inappropriate, but we think of guarding our kids from TV and computer influences, we don't think about monitoring their homework reading assignments! Well, parents of 4th graders at a school in Texas got a big surprise when a few kids brought home a "Critical Reading" assignment they hadn't had time to finish in class. You just might not believe what this paragraph described, OR what the questions were! Fox asked me to talk about why this is a bad fit for nine and ten year olds, and how it might be avoided.
