Can we Gift Our Kids Good Character?

I am thrilled to be a guest blogger for The Heartwood Institute.  This is a non-profit organization that promotes ethics education in schools, Girl and Boy Scout troops, and community organizations. This month they've asked me to talk about character, and what we can do to nurture the seeds we see in our children. Just as we would encourage a child who showed an aptitude for chess or gymnastics or music, so we can look for extraordinary character traits in our kids, and help those traits expand to fulfill their potential!
