How to Talk To Your Kids About Politics

Last week I was on the Today Show discussing how to talk to your kids about politics with Matt Lauer. The truth is, this election year has brought out some interesting discussions in a lot of our homes. Especially those households with kids. Many kids are picking up on things they see on the news and behaviors they see. You may have gotten the question, “Mom, is that a bully?” or “why did they say those mean things?”

Many of the behaviors that we tell kids not to do – like bullying or saying things that aren’t nice, have been prevalent on the campaign trail. So what do you tell your kids?
