Mastering the Meltdown: The Grocery Store Edition

You aren’t a parent until you have had to deal with a meltdown at the grocery store. We have all been there, myself included. Sometimes it can come out of nowhere and other times the meltdown is born from the perfect storm of tired, hungry and cranky.

If you dread taking your kids to the store for this very reason, watch this video. There are tips on how to manage expectations and have a successful and meltdown-free shopping trip. I also have some tips on how to handle the situation during the meltdown.

Most of all, Don’t worry! You aren’t the first parent in the universe to have a kid that loses it in the grocery store. Ask any grocery store manager and you will feel a whole lot better!
