Mastering the Theme Park Meltdown

Summer is finally here! The kids are off school and they are looking forward to a summer filled with fun.

Summertime is a great opportunity to travel with your family and one of the most popular destinations for family fun is the theme park! A theme park can be a lot of fun but it also can be a long, tiring, (and sometimes) hot day for the kids. Mix that long day with overstimulation and it’s a recipe for a meltdown.

So, how do you handle it when your kid loses their mind at the theme park? Do you call it a day and go home or do you just ride out the tantrum?

The best defense is to stop the meltdown before it begins, but if you can’t, you can be prepared for when it happens. Watch the below video where I share with you my own theme park meltdown experience with 7 kids and give some tips on how to handle it when it does.
