Parenting Resolutions: Stop Re-Doing Your Kids Chores

We are all guilty of it. Your child cleans their room or loads the dishwasher and you walk behind to check their work and end up re-doing it. You may think that you are just helping them to do it the “right” way, but you are actually doing more harm than good.

Chores are an important part of a household and by re-doing their chores, you are sending a message that you don’t value what your kids are doing. So what do you do when your kids don’t do their chores correctly?
