It's a lot of work, feeding our kids! When that meal ends with some gratitude and a little (or a lot of) help cleaning up, the whole experience can be a more pleasant - especially for the grown-up who cooked. Even better, kids are much more likely to get invited to eat at a friend's house when they end each meal with these three sentences. And that means a little less cooking for us grown-ups!
